Eyepos 3 – a multifunctional payment terminal from PayEye

PayEye is a Polish technology company specialising in innovative biometrics payment solutions. Instead of traditional methods such as payment cards or phones, customers can pay with… of their eye.

The company has developed a unique biometric system that authorises payments using an iris scan. This method provides convenience and guarantees a high level of security, as each person’s iris pattern is unique.

The company was founded in Poland and develops its technology locally. It exemplifies innovation in the fintech sector, trying to change how we think about everyday transactions.

Challenge

PayEye used a fusion of eye and face biometrics and proprietary algorithms in its device to create new payments.

However, the challenge was to combine all payments on one terminal so that two devices were not required for biometric and traditional cashless ones.

From the point of view of the company’s development and gaining new customers interested in implementing innovative payments, PayEye had to find a solution to this challenge.

Solution

Summary

PayEye and Exorigo-Upos are currently testing a joint solution at a stationary point. The innovative Eyepos 3, which combines biometric functionalities with traditional card payments, allows customers to make contactless, mobile, and card payments.

The Eyepos 3 terminals will be officially available on the market in the third quarter of 2024.
