Automation of e-commerce sales fiscalization using SmartOrder and E-PARAGON+

Oriflame is a global beauty and wellness company offering a wide range of cosmetics and care products. The brand operates in more than 60 markets and combines online sales with an extensive network of independent business partners.

Challenge

The company was looking for a solution to streamline the handling of its growing number of orders and to organise the fiscalization process.

The project aimed to build a coherent process to reduce manual activities, ensure compliance with Polish fiscal requirements, and enable development as sales scale. An important element was also the ability to monitor the course of fiscalization on an ongoing basis and report data on completed transactions.

Solution

Exorigo-Upos has implemented the SmartHub platform, which includes SmartOrder and E-PARAGON+ services. Oriflame’s sales system was connected to the platform via an API, enabling automatic transfer of order data for fiscalization without needing to handle individual transactions manually.

SmartOrder manages the course of the fiscalization process, communicates with fiscal printers, and stores information about fiscalized sales. The complementary E-PARAGON+ component generates electronic receipts in PDF format that can be shared with end customers.

Exorigo-Upos’ scope of responsibility was not limited to the application layer. The project also included the preparation of fiscal infrastructure, the configuration of devices, and the colocation of printers in dedicated rooms. Exorigo-Upos also provided maintenance for the equipment, offering Oriflame a solution that included both technology and support. The whole thing runs in the scalable Microsoft Azure cloud environment.

Implementation

The work began with the preparation of environments and infrastructure configuration, and then included integrating Oriflame’s sales platform with SmartOrder. At the same time, the processes for generating e-receipts and for fiscal data reporting mechanisms were configured.

Before production commissioning, functional and performance tests were carried out to verify the correctness of the integration and the system’s behaviour under the assumed load. Monitoring and operational support processes necessary for ongoing supervision of the service’s operations have also been prepared.

In May 2026, Oriflame systems were connected to the SmartOrder service in a production environment.

Results

The implementation enabled Oriflame to transition the fiscalization of online orders to an automated, centrally managed process. Sales data is transmitted directly from the e-commerce platform, and fiscal documents are generated and made available to customers electronically.

Reducing manual work has streamlined order handling and reduced the burden on operations teams. At the same time, the company gained better control over the course of fiscalization thanks to monitoring and access to structured reporting data. The cloud architecture enables the solution to scale with increasing transaction volume without needing to rebuild the entire process.

Key benefits:

  • compliance of the sales process with Polish fiscal requirements,
  • reduction of manual operations,
  • electronic distribution of sales documents,
  • central monitoring and reporting,
  • the ability to scale the solution as sales grow.
