A year ago, we initiated a unique tradition that has already become a permanent fixture on our capital group’s calendar. One Team May Day is a moment when we consciously put aside our daily duties, turn off our monitor screens and meet in the real world to just spend time together. This year, on Friday, May 15, we proved that regardless of the distances between us on a daily basis, we form a single, strong and well-coordinated team.
A great celebration of the whole group of nearly 400 participants from Europe
This year’s edition exceeded our expectations in terms of attendance and international reach. Nearly 400 people representing teams from all companies included in our capital group gathered in one place:
We hosted colleagues from all over Poland and abroad – including Great Britain, Cyprus, Romania, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Such diversity has shown how dynamically we are developing as an entire organisation and how much potential lies in our international community.
Organising such a large logistics project is a huge challenge. The team responsible for the event took care of every, even the smallest detail. What’s more, in this capricious, rainy period, the organisers even managed to “order” beautiful, sunny weather exactly for the duration of our May holiday!
Why are face-to-face meetings important to us?
In an era when the pace of work is constantly increasing, and most of our teams operate in hybrid or 100% remote models, direct contact is becoming fundamental. Online work tools are great for everyday tasks, but it’s live meetings that build real trust and lasting relationships that directly facilitate day-to-day collaboration and communication later on.
Competition, competitions and sports emotions
This year’s May Day is not only about conversations at the same table. The organisers have prepared a rich program full of exciting competitions and sports competitions in the spirit of fair play. It was a great opportunity to test your skills in new disciplines, show your creativity and, above all, have a great time.

An experience that lasts longer
In short: it was GREAT! We returned to our daily tasks with heads full of memories, new energy to act and strongly refreshed relationships. We would like to thank each of the nearly 400 participants for their presence, smile and co-creation of this unique atmosphere. We can’t wait for next year and another meeting with One Team!
